WAIVER OF LIABILITY: In consideration of your accepting this entry, I the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, my business, executors, administrators, and demonstrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the Palm Desert Country Club, PDCCLLC, PDCCSC, Keith Caroselli, Terry Archer, Balboa Threadworks Inc., Thom Emery, Emery Services Inc., International Chili Society, ICS, the IBCA, the CBBQA, their representatives, successors and assigns for any injuries suffered by me, my business, or my guests in/at this event. Further, I hereby grant full permission to the Event organizers and/or agents authorized by them to use any photographs, video tapes, recordings or any other record of the event for any legitimate purpose. NOTES / RULES
1. Booth Area for chili teams is 10' x 18' deep.
2. Booth Area for BBQ teams is 20' x 18' deep due to cooker size. You may combine IBCA & ICS events.
3. Cooks should bring their own cooking gear to fit within their alloted booth area; shelter, tables, chairs, stoves, smokers, grills, Fire Extinguisher, etc. and maintain a clean booth, both during and after the competition. BBQ cooks using electric augers must let us know in advance so we can provide electric.
4. Peoples choice in both Chili and BBQ is expected from every team / pit. We request a minimum of 1 gallon of Chili with beans from ICS teams and 5 pounds of Sample BBQ from each IBCA team/pit. Taster cops (2 oz) will be provided by event sponsors. Please have enough Team members to support these events.
